Grief: Finding Peace
Thursday – March 23 (1pm-2:30pm)
Taught by: Pamela Cotton, Ph.D.
Grief can be a significant life challenge, and yet it is a part of the path of being human. Grief can be triggered by the death of a loved one, struggles with dementia, the challenges of disability or miscarriage, the passing of a dear pet, a major life transition, an unstable or scary environment, or any other loss of something very important to you. No matter the loss, it can be helpful to better understand the process. You will learn the difference between normal and complex grief, a basic overview of the normal grief process, and some practical tools to assist you in your journey toward peace. All are welcome, whether you are dealing with a loss within yourself, in the environment around you, or in someone you love. Cost: $20.
