This workshop helps accountants, business owners, lawyers and others to incorporate mindfulness and sustainability into their daily lives and careers.  The class will explore ways to live and work more sustainably, incorporate the basics of triple bottom line business practices, reduce the stress that comes with working in business, investigate issues such as socially responsible investing, B Corporations, and social entrepreneurism.  Participants will find ways to make their business more environmentally sustainable and socially just while reducing operating costs and personal stress.  This workshop does not presume prior experience with mindfulness but is also not intended to be a full course in mindfulness meditation.


  • Date: Friday, November 17, 2017 
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - noon
  • Instructor: Tim Darst, CPA, Associate Program Director of Earth & Spirit Center
  • Workshop Fee: $75, However, no one is refused for lack of funds.
  • This workshop qualifies for 2.5 hours of continuing education for certified public accountants
  • This reduced fee is made possible by a generous grant from the Kalliopeia Foundation.
