Sustainable business practices are topics of urgent conversation. Companies are discovering that without sustainable innovation, they stagnate and fall out of market relevance.


This workshop brings together sustainability and mindfulness. It offers ways to live and work more sustainably by incorporating the basics of managing the triple bottom line economic, social and environmental as it explores options such as socially responsible investing, B Corporations, and social entrepreneurism. It presents practical mindfulness skills that can lead to innovative thinking, improve communication skills, increase productivity, and reduce stress.



Participants will find ways to make their business more environmentally sustainable and socially just while reducing operating costs and increasing a sense of personal wellbeing.

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - noon
  • Instructor: Tim Darst, CPA, Associate Program Director of Earth & Spirit Center
  • Workshop Fee: $75, However, no one is refused for lack of funds.
  • This workshop qualifies for 2.5 hours of continuing education for certified public accountants
  • This reduced fee is made possible by a generous grant from the Kalliopeia Foundation.
