Camp Nature Odyssey: Adventures in Earth & Spirit Summer Day Camps for Kids
Week One: June 11 - 15, 2018
Week Two: June 18 - 22, 2018
Summer kids camps are designed to cultivate a sense of awe and wonder in children entering grades 1-6. In our historic barn, in our outdoor classroom, and on our 21 acres of fields, woods, and gardens, children have opportunities to experience and learn more about the natural world in which they live. They learn about natural resources, growing food, and reducing their environmental impact, and they discover a sense of belonging in our world. The week is filled with meaningful yet fun activities and enriching experiences.
The morning session offers kids opportunities to investigate their connection with the natural world. Activities include exploring the woodland and meadows in the 20 acres behind the barn, learning essential nature skills, gardening, understanding how food grows, and whipping up super-healthy snacks from the garden. Also included are classes in art, yoga and fascinating science experiments.

An optional afternoon portion of the camp is available for those who want an extended experience. The Odyssey adventure and fun continue with workshops in participatory music and eco-crafts.
